Vulvodynia And Tight Clothing

In a 2019 study, it was found that wearing tight fitting jeans or pants and removing hair from the mons pubis area were associated with increased odds of vulvodynia. Among women who chose to remove pubic hair, those that removed pubic hair from the mons pubis versus bikini area-only hair removal were 74% more likely to have vulvodynia. Compared to women who reported bikini area-only hair removal less than monthly those who removed hair from the mons pubis weekly are ordinarily two times more likely to be vulvodynia cases. Suggestions? Clip hair you would like to remove from the pubic area and wear looser pants. J
